GP Referral

To allow patients to self-refer or, alternatively, to retain GP’s as the gatekeeper to these services, is primarily a philosophical one. The choice is for the Commissioners of the service. Connect can, and does, operate both services.

Whilst it is recommended that entry into IMATT is always by a health care professional, this is not necessarily the case for PhysioLine and Primary Care Based Physio. (see self-referral).
