Connects Manual Handling Training programme is designed for operators who undertake manual handling tasks in the form of either lifting heavy loads or frequent and repetitive handling of light loads, (e.g. warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or production line).

This programme is designed to ensure that the requirements for training by employers under the Manual Handling Operation Regulations (HSE 1992) are fulfilled and incorporates a practical 'shop floor' element designed specifically to address the best use of correct lifting and handling techniques in specific working environments.

Additional benefits will be gained from this training programme through its delivery by an experienced Occupational Physiotherapist, who will add weight to the importance of 'individual operator responsibility' for assessing risks and applying correct techniques.

Duration: 3.5 hours.  Group size: 10 delegates (max)
