Connect has developed a rapid access (within 48 hours) physiotherapy telephone service, operated remotely from a Connect call centre by specially trained Chartered Occupational Physiotherapists.
Self help advice is given to the employee, supplemented by relevant information, which is posted/emailed where appropriate. Management advice is also provided to the employer. Where necessary, our PhysioLine service can be combined with on-site workplace assessments or 'On-Site'/'Off-Site' treatment services.
Our evidence suggests that on average, 40% of traditional physiotherapy (face to face) appointments can be reduced by accessing our PhysioLine service, resulting in improved efficiencies and cost savings through reduced absence.
